Internal Medicine
A Doctor of Internal Medicine addresses the symptoms and treatments related to the internal organs of the body. An Internist has a special training that is geared toward the long-term treatment of adults: diagnosing puzzling problems and handling chronic illnesses.
At the IHCH, we offer the diagnosis and treatment of:
• Heart and blood vessels
• Cancer
• Diabetes
• Digestive problems
• Liver, kidney, lungs symptoms
• Blood and hormone defects
• Infections
• Rheumatism
• Old
age
If necessary we offer ultrasound of the abdominal organs, thyroid and blood vessels.
Our Internist, Dr. Nicola Kellermann, also provides health checks (physicals) at the IHCH for prevention and individualised care. She is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and from August 1, on Fridays.
