Dr. Kristel Willems, M.D. (French, German, English, Dutch)

Kristel Willems was born and raised in Ghent, Belgium. She graduated from the University Ghent Medical School in 1994. She subsequently specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics in Bremen, Germany until 1999. Afterwards she worked as gynaecologist in the centre for prenatal medicine based in Munich. After her second daughter was born, she followed her husband to the Netherlands.

Since 2006 she has been working at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague and is now, since January 2012, practising part-time at the International Health Centre The Hague.

Member of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Gynaecologie en Verloskunde (NVOG), Deutsche GesellschaftfürUltraschall in der Medizin (DEGUM), and International Society of Ultrasound in ObstetricsandGynecology (ISUOG).

Areas of expertise:  obstetrics, sonography and general gynaecology.

Kristel Willems est née à Gand, Belgique. Elle obtenait en 1994 son diplôme de médicine à l’université de Gand.  Ensuite, elle suivait une formation en gynécologie et obstétrique à Bremen, Allemagne. Après sa spécialisation (1999) elle travaillait à l’Hôpital de la Croix Rouge à Munich, au département de médecine prénatale et d’obstétrique. En 2005, elle suivit son mari avec ses deux filles au Pays Bas.

Depuis 2006 elle pratique à l’hôpital Bronovo à Den Haag et, depuis janvier 2012, comme gynécologue part-time à l’International Health Centre The Hague.

Membre du Nederlandse Vereniging voor Gynaecologie en Verloskunde (NVOG), du Deutsche GesellschaftfürUltraschall in der Medizin (DEGUM), et de l’International Society of Ultrasound in ObstetricsandGynecology (ISUOG).

Kristel Willems ist geboren und aufgewachsen in Gent, Belgien. Nach ihrem Medizinstudium an der Universität Gent absolvierte sie die Facharztausbildung in Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe am Zentral Krankenhaus St-Jürgen in Bremen, die sie in 1999 abschloss. Anschließend arbeitete sie als Fachärztin für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe in der Frauenklinik vom Roten Kreuz in München, in der Abteilung für Pränatalmedizin und Geburtshilfe.

Nach der Geburt ihrer zweiten Tochter folgte sie 2005 ihrem Mann in die Niederlande.

Dort ist sie seit 2006 am Bronovo Krankenhaus Den Haag tätig und arbeitet seit Anfang 2012 in Teilzeit als Gynäkologin beim International Health Center The Hague.

Mitglied der Nederlandse Vereniging voor Gynaecologie en Verloskunde (NVOG), derDeutschenGesellschaftfürUltraschall in der Medizin (DEGUM), und der International Society of Ultrasound in ObstetricsandGynecology (ISUOG).

Schwerpunkte: Geburtshilfe, Ultraschall und allgemeine Gynäkologie.
